Hi, I’m Jessi

My passion for helping farm-to-table businesses connect to their customers grew from more than 8 years in PR and marketing for hospitality, tourism and agriculture.

I help passionate farmers, makers and tourism operators build more profitable businesses, and change the way consumers engage with the food system.

first

I grew up on a hobby farm outside Kyogle, in NSW’s Northern Rivers region, where we were lucky enough to eat something home-grown or raised most days. As the daughter of a bookworm and a small business owner, I naturally fell in love for words and marketing. My first paid comms gig was sticking address labels on my dad’s real estate flyers, and The Gruen Transfer debuted in my formative years.

then

I went to the University of Queensland, studying a Bachelor of Communication while working as a waitress (though nothing Brisbane’s hospo scene threw at me was as formidable as our then-chef at Kyogle Golf Club). After graduating, I got my hands dirty in PR and marketing for both business and government, hospo and ag. I had a hand in everything from weddings to fishmongers, sold out parties to drought loans, organic production to Australia’s candidate for the Bocuse d’Or to.

now

I help you tell your story and build communities; to find the people who don’t just love what you do, but the why and how you do it, and pay you what your hard work is worth.
